Although I usually train for institutes, colleges and universities, I am sometimes asked to conduct short training programmes for hotel companies, tour operators employing a large number of guides, and the occasional conference and exhibition venue.

Invariably, in terms of this 'on the job' training, I am asked to provide a programme that amounts to 'vital small talk'.  In addition, training is usually only for four weeks (as opposed to academic training, which lasts for about 15-16 weeks)... Although, I should note that I can tailor training programmes to a longer period of time.

NEW MODULE,
COMING EARLY 2020

  In 2020, I will be writing/preparing a new module in the Vital Small Talk series.  The new module will be about Telephone Customer Service and cover best practices, common cultural matters, common problem situations, and accent reduction.
At this stage, I expect it to be online a little before - or within - March 2020.
